Frequently asked questions
How does the custom order process work?
Design photo references can be sent via Etsy chat and we will confirm compatibility with our materials. Once we have the design modeled, we will send a digital proof to review. Once the panel is completed, we will also send a picture of the finished product before shipment.
Can I cancel or return my order?
Thank you for purchasing our products. All sales are final. Items may only be exchanged or returned within 14 days of receipt if damaged during transit or not as described.
If you would like to cancel your order, you may receive a full refund provided your order has not been produced and/or shipped. Order cancellations are not guaranteed, but we will do our best to accommodate for all requests if possible.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible via Etsy messages pr at contact@lumenite.co with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
How do I attach my Lumenite panel?
To ensure optimal performance, we recommend using our products with backpacks or bags equipped with bungee loops or hooks.
Attach the panel directly onto your bag using the provided zip ties, adjusting according to your bag's size and configuration.
Can I shorten my wire light?
Yes, the light wire length is customizable. The wire can be cut with scissors, while maintaining its glow up to that point. After cutting, simply apply the end cap or a dab of hot glue to protect the exposed end.
Troubleshooting Guide
Double check to see if your batteries are working by pressing the button on the inverter pack (a red light should turn on).
The light wire is powered by an inverter which converts a voltage into a high frequency. Thus, a small high pitched noise is normal. If it isn’t making a noise try unplugging the wire and powering it up again.
If you can hear the inverter but the wire does not turn on, the wire may have gotten pinched together at the ends of the wire causing a short circuit. Just cut off the end of the wire (up to ½”) and replace the end cap or add a dab of hot glue to the cut end of the wire.
When can I expect my Lumenite order?
All orders are processed within 3 to 6 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
All items are subject to availability based on inventory. If we cannot fulfill your order we will contact you. Shipments may also be delayed due to weather conditions.
